Second-Hand Equipment

The Second-Hand Equipment Redeployment unit facilitates the exchange of surplus equipment within the Nestlé Group or the sale of such equipment to third parties.

The Nestrade Second-Hand Equipment Redeployment unit works closely together with the Nestlé Purina Investment Recovery Group.

Our operational role is to:

• Collect information about surplus equipment within the group
• Search for equipment outside the Group based on specifications provided by the interested factory
• Provide assistance to organize technical inspection by Nestlé Engineers
• Organise internal & external campaigns for specific sales
• Make inventories in factories worldwide
• Assist in factory closures, for direct sales or auctions
• Find and evaluate brokers or auctioneers
• Extend the number of external partners
• Manage the Web tools (Intranet & Internet)
• Support and train users
• Arbitrate conflicts
