Adding Nutritional Value

Managing the procurement, production and distribution of speciality fats and oils. These high technology products have various applications, but their common function is to add nutritional value to finished products. Such ingredients are being developed in close collaboration with the Nestlé Research Centre (NRC) and are produced by Sofinol in Switzerland.

Speciality oils are used in different areas of business:

• Infant Nutrition: e.g. specific polyunsaturated fatty acids to aid growth and development of the infant, part of the Branded Active benefits concept
• Cosmetics, Nutricosmetics
• Healthcare nutrition, adult nutrition
• Animal nutrition
